Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Larkspur Integrative Health operates on a cash-pay, concierge model. By not contracting with insurance companies, we are able to provide longer appointments, deeply personalized care, and a level of clinical transparency that the traditional insurance model often restricts. While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide you with a Superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Are labs and medications included in the visit price?

No. Your visit fee covers your dedicated time and clinical expertise with Melanie. Labs and medications are separate costs. However, we work to keep these accessible:

  • Labs: We have negotiated wholesale "cash-pay" rates to keep cost down.

  • Medications: These are filled through specialized compounding or retail pharmacies at their own market rates.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes! We offer convenient telehealth visits for patients throughout Idaho. Please note that for certain specialized treatments or your initial Foundational Deep-Dive, an in-person visit at our Eagle, Idaho location (within Rose Glow) may be recommended to establish the best clinical foundation.

Can I use my HSA Or FSA?

In most cases, yes. Since Larkspur provides medical services, you can typically use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards to pay for visits, labs, and certain treatments. We recommend verifying specific coverage with your plan administrator.

What happens after my first visit?

After your Deep-Dive, we move into the Strategy Phase. Once your labs are back, we meet for a Comprehensive Lab Review to go over every marker and finalize your treatment plan (hormones, peptides, or metabolic protocols). From there, we transition into monthly or quarterly follow-ups to optimize your results.

Do I still need a Primary Care Provider (PCP)?

Yes. Larkspur is a specialty integrative practice. We focus on hormones, metabolic health, and wellness optimization. We do not provide urgent care, routine physicals, or management of acute illnesses. We recommend all patients maintain a relationship with a traditional PCP for their general medical needs.
